I have been working in the mental health field with individuals and families for over 25 years. I am Latina, fluent in both English and Spanish. I have worked with a multicultural population addressing such topics as adoption, parenting, abuse recovery, stress management, anxiety disorders, depression, grief and loss issues, self-esteem, assertion-skill building and bi-culturation.

I am also a Certified Trainer and Trainer of Trainers for Kinship Center’s ACT: An Adoption and Permanency Curriculum for Child Welfare and Mental Health Professionals. I have been fortunate to work with all members of the Adoption Triad as well as mental health professionals, sharing both my extensive professional expertise as well as my personal experience as an adoptee.
As a consultant, I have worked with numerous non-profit and for-profit companies/agencies throughout California, such as the Children’s Bureau, Five Acres, El Nido Family Centers, Vaughn Family Center, the Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles, the Mexican-Baptist Convention of Southern California, Bay Area Academy and the California State Judicial Council of the Court.
I have served as Adjunct Faculty for both Phillips Graduate Institute and Pacific Oaks College in Los Angeles County. I have been a guest on the Telemundo/Channel 52 News Broadcast, offering psychological insight on various topics.
I am fully committed to helping people grow and change in order to develop more fulfilling, dynamic and effective lives.
“Life is change. Growth is optional. Choose wisely.”
